About Trumpington Street Medical Practice

 

This is a long established practice, founded in the early part of the last century. It is situated in the middle of the city, opposite St Catharine’s College and King’s College. The practice area for the main surgery covers central Cambridge. Our branch surgery is situated in Hobson Square. Trumpington on Level 2 of the Clay Farm Centre.

Patient Digital Checklist

1. NHS Mobile App

This is becoming a one stop app for your health needs and is available to download on your mobile phone.

Use for making appointments, checking medical history, prescriptions etc.

NHS login is a service provided by the NHS that allows you to securely access digital health and care services. The credentials you set up using your NHS login can be used to access a variety of applications (including Airmid).

Download Airmid app to allow you and medical staff if necessary to access your medical records i.e. on a temporary basis when abroad. 

2. MyChart ( Addenbrooke's Hospital)

This allows you to view your Addenbrooke’s hospital records online, get test result like blood tests within 24hrs, track your appointments and outpatient and inpatient records, plus much more.

4. To access your online medical records

SystmOnline allows patients or someone acting on behalf of the patient to proactively manage their care.

The online services available include the ability to view an online Electronic Medical Record (EMR) as well as booking appointments and managing medication.

You will need to contact the Practice and ask for ‘online access’ to the practice for your detailed medical records to be accessible to you online (otherwise a limited/coded version will be available) – forms can be obtained from reception by calling 01223 361611/ 01223 845185 or emailed to you.

5. PPG (Patient Participation Group)

If you would like to be more involved, consider becoming a member of the PPG, which has quarterly meetings with the practice and also runs the practice garden allotment.

Ensure the GP practice has your mobile number and consent to send you text messages and reminders of appointments etc.
